Overview of study: Fifty subjects with various beginning hydration numbers, age, exercise levels, race, sex, and health levels were first tested with clean bodies. Clean bodies meaning they had consumed no prescription drugs, no supplements, and no special diets for 1 week prior to this first intake. At the first intake a group information seminar was done to provide the subjects with the necessary information for using the Infinity Water products. At this time guidelines were given to the subjects as follows:
- No supplements were to be used for the length of this study
- No unnecessary prescription or OTC drugs were to be used during this study.
- Subjects are to consume 1⁄2 of their weight in ounces daily of purified water or distilled water only
- No one is to consume any other water product during this study No alterations to their diets should be made at this time
- Infinity Water is to be added to the drinking water at 2 caps per 1⁄2 gallon of drinking water for the length of this study
- Anyone running low on Infinity Water should contact the office for more water at no time should you not be consuming Infinity Water added to drinking water
Baseline data was collected from each client having a clean body before they were provided the product. Healthcare professionals with Optimal Wellness Test Research study experience collected this data. Our staff consists of a Registered Nurse, Medical Doctor, Masters in Holistic Nutrition and Certified Nutritionists. Baseline test consists of:
Optimal Wellness Test (urine and saliva samples)
Blood pressure
Pulse
Temperature
Respiration
Signed consent for testing and products
Psychological intakes were completed and collected from each subject
Infinity product was provide to subjects
Instruction for product were gone over again on an individual basis
Second Week of Study: Health care professionals again evaluated each subject and the following information was collected:
Optimal Wellness Test (urine and saliva)
Reiteration of use provided
Reiteration of correct amount of water consumption provided
Additional Infinity Water was provided to subjects who needed more
Fourth Week of study: Health care professionals evaluated each subject and the following information was collected:
Optimal Wellness Test (urine and saliva samples)
Psychological intakes were completed and collected from each subject
Optimal Wellness Test: The Optimal Wellness analyzer (Fenestra Technology) is an analytical system that uses cutting edge science to evaluate health at the cellular level. Objective testing procedures are the basis for this analysis, so there is no subjective input from the tester. A computer-based software program provides print outs with your cellular imbalances brought to light. The Optimal Wellness Test using the Fenestra Technology runs a combination of 30+ tests run on non-fasting urine and non-fasting saliva. However, the focus of the Infinity Water study was to determine if there was an increase in hydration.
Hydration & Four Associated Parameters
The focus of the Human Clinical Study involving subjects drinking Infinity Water was done on the basis of increasing cellular hydration and whether or not drinking Infinity Water can moves a subject closer to Wellness cellular hydration levels. There are four Optimal Wellness Test parameters used to determine overall hydration:
Conductance
Resistivity
Surface Tension
Specific Gravity
Testing for hydration with the Fenestra Technology involves a proprietary mathematical formula based on the four parameters (Conductivity, Restivity, Surface Tension, and Specific Gravity) to determine whether or not a person is moving towards or is within the wellness range. The more a person is outside the range for hydration Wellness the more dehydrated they are considered to be. To measure the four components for cellular hydration computation it is vital to analyze saliva, and urine samples from the body.
The purpose of this study was to evaluate Infinity Water's effect on cellular hydration. Over a thirty-day period there was a shift in hydration wellness for every subject in the study, regardless of whether or not they were drinking sufficient amounts of water every day prior to the study.
The foundation of evaluating the electrical properties in the Optimal Wellness Test technology is the basic formula C = R/V, which is Ohm's Law. Through the interplay of voltage with both Conductivity and Resistivity some basic knowledge about intra and extra cellular hydration can be accessed. Conductivity is related to intracellular hydration and Resistivity is related to extracellular hydration. With the fluid samples obtained from each person in the Infinity Water Clinical Study these parameters can be measured and evaluated.
Specific Gravity and Surface Tension pertain more to chemical content but still relate to electrical properties of the body. Surface tension is directly related to inward molecular attraction, with the obvious implication that if solids are suspended properly via molecular combinations with H20 then this means that the fluids of the body will have lower surface tension. Specific gravity of any given bodily fluid reveals the content of solids in solution, with higher and higher concentrations of solids -both intra and extra cellular - raising the specific gravity number as a possible indicator of dehydration.
Conductivity
Conductivity is a measurement of the amount and quality of electrical current in the body. Salts are electrolytes and they are responsible for the electrical conduction of information in the body. Conductivity looks at the measurement of the quantity of current flow within the biological specimen and is an indicator of osmotic pressure, heat loss, and fluid balance. If the current in the body is too high or too low there will be symptoms of degeneration of the body. Osmotic pressure comes in to play also here.
Resistivity
Resistivity reflects the flow of ions across cellular membranes. Resistivity is the measurement of the relative concentrations of minerals contained within the tested sample. The slight difference in the concentration of minerals found in the plasma vs. the amount found inside the cells creates a voltage gradient called the membrane potential. Therefore, resistivity is a direct reflection of the body's ability to conduct electrical currents.
Surface Tension
The surface tension of fluids in the body can be compared through technological analysis with that of pure water. Higher surface tension implies a decreased capacity for cellular permeability for any given fluid.
Surface tension of a fluid can be defined as inward molecular attraction forces, which must be overcome to increase the surface area. Surface tension is the energy required to increase the surface area of a liquid by a unit amount. In water the intermolecular hydrogen bonds are involved in the inward attraction forces. The surface tension of water at 20 degrees centigrade is 7.29 x 10-2 J/m2.
Specific Gravity
Mathematically, specific gravity is similar to density. Specific gravity is defined as density of a substance divided by the density of water. Since the units will cancel out in any computation it simply means that the only difference between specific gravity and density is that the there are no units associated with specific gravity, as is the case with density.
With bodily fluids density is a function of the types and amounts of solids found in solution. The more there is of substances in solution that are heavier than water the higher the density will be. With dehydration, whether it is intra or extra cellular, the density of fluids will be higher because the water content goes down as the solids go up. The converse is true for increased hydration.
Conclusion
In Human Clinical Trials Infinity Water improved intracellular cellular hydration dramatically in all subjects. The test results conducted with the Fenestra Technology apply to all subjects in the study. In other words, everyone in the clinical study showed a dramatic increase in cellular hydration.
In addition, drinking Infinity Water was proven to substantially improve the mood in many of the subjects. Those who indicated the moods of depression and anxiety in many cases demonstrated a dramatic improvement in mood, feeling happier and more at ease in day to day life.
The 30 day clinical study conducted by Fenestra proves unequivocally that the formula of adding two capfuls (teaspoons) to a gallon of clean drinking water and then drinking plenty every day will dramatically increase cellular hydration. Over time this dramatic increase in cellular hydration should lead to balancing of pH and detoxification, which is because hydration is the foundation for detoxifying the cells and improving the electrical balance of body fluids: this will result in balancing the pH, whether too high or too low.
Therefore, it can be concluded, based on the objective test results from using the Fenestra Technology, that drinking Infinity Water every day will bring about a dramatically increase in cellular hydration, which is the most important foundation for health and anti aging.
